Sketch Competition «KAMAZ Truck for Dakar Race in year 2022» organized by the leading car design resource about transportation design in Russia Cardesign.ru in conjunction with the CARR Magazine ( www.carrmagazine.com ) and sponsored by Autodesk. Featuring the freshest sketches, CARR Magazine brings together the most relevant and stylish car drawing artworks from upcoming and established designers around the world.

Theme
Design the next KAMAZ truck for Dakar Race in year 2022.

Participants
The Sketch Competition is accessible to people of any age and country in the world. Participants are divided into two categories: Professionals Category and Amateur Category.

Professionals Category involves design professionals and students from all design schools as well as future automotive engineers.
Amateur Category is accessible to all people, who do not fulfill criteria mentioned in the “professional category“.

Three winning designs will be published in this year´s CARR Magazine Nr.3

b) Best visualization of idea

Projects
- Each participant submits only one project
- The project should include:
1) 3 final renders
2) exploration drawings/search doodles, scribbles

Cardesign.ru reserves the right without notice to prevent the participation in competition if project doesn´t meet competition criteria


Requirements for the project
Each project must be presented in two versions:

1) For publication on Cardesign.ru
as separate images, or posters (uploaded to the site using a special form).

Participants who don´t upload their work onto the website are excluded from the contest.

How to upload submission:

Login the site and go to: http://www.cardesign.ru/profile/contests/?act=add

1. Choose your category: Professional or Amateur

2. Fill in all fields: the name of your project and description
3. Add all the images.
4. Press «save»

2) For the CARR Magazine
Amount of 2-4 posters in size DIN A3 (portrait) at 300dpi Resolution; saved as TIFF

Details important for CARDESIGN.RU Web upload:

- Each image uploaded to the site must meet the following requirements: format JPEG, the color model is RGB (for graphic programs as default), width 1800 pixels, resolution of 72dpi.
Uploading works on site :
- Adding work is done automatically: either through personal study (choose «add work», then «Competition»), or at the very tender (use the button «Add work»).
- Pay attention to your status (professional, amateur), referred to in «Personal Area» under «personal information». When you work, it will automatically be placed in the appropriate Subheading.
- To participate in the competition are not allowed the authors to the nickname, please preventively edit their personal data, stating the real name.

- All works are visible on the contest until the last day of the competition.

Details important for Print:
- Send only Files with .TIFF Extension, color model CMYK, A3 (420 * 297 mm+Portrait / Vertical Format) with a resolution of 300 dpi.

- Artwork should include a legible signature of the author, plus an additional signature file.
(a TIFF File at 400*300 pixels @ 300dpi does the job)
- Subject of your e-mail please enter your information: Name, Status.

- Any commercial use of design, sent to the contest, without the written permission of the designer.
- Revision Cardesign.ru and Simkom.com has the right to use the works sent to the contest, at its discretion, but not at the expense of human design: presentation at exhibitions to provide PR, and advertising of the contest.
